Merry Christmas

Life is a Journey

I was worshiping this morning in church and the Lord spoke to my heart and said, "Life is a Journey."  If life is a journey it involves movement, hopefully forward.  It also means that valley and mountain top experiences are all a part of the progress.  Good word for me, because I worry too much on the valley and get way too excited on the mountain top ecstasy.  Just call me Elijah.  There is good and bad and indifferent in life.  Experience it, love it, enjoy it!!  God is in control.  Life bring it on!  Look up!

Europe and the one world Government

Just heard that the EU has decided to turn their economic fortunes over to a central figure.  EU is in trouble financially.  The glory of the old Roman Empire and the new European Union needs cash.  The Pope as well as the EU are now falling into line with Bible Prophecy to set up a possible one world leader to determine their financial stability.  Just a few weeks ago the Pope said he wanted a strong figure to lead the world into financial stability.  Bible Prophecy tells us that will happen in the last days.  Look up! 

National Corruption

Isaiah 59 tells us of the nation of Israel that has fallen into sin and turned it's back on God.  We in America are in the same place today.  I am so disgusted and fearful for the tone in this nation.  Read through this chapter, it will only take a few minutes to do so. 
Does this sound familiar?  Feet that run continually to shed blood, thoughts continually on evil, no peace to be found.  Abortion, pornography, anti-depressants taken by the handful.  We search for light, a way out if you will, and all we find is darkness.  We are like blind leading the blind!  Justice is just a word, truth has fallen and is trampled in the streets.  We know, even if we don't admit it, our sins and failures before God. 
God looks for a man, or woman, to stand in the gap and plead for this nation and most importantly the souls of the people of this nation. 
I ask you to pray, pray that God will forgive us for our laziness and heal our land.  Pray for a genuine revival to come. 
Time is short, come quickly Lord Jesus!!

I'm Back

Hey I took some time off, but I have decided it is time to get back into the blog again.  Will be doing more video than writing, so dust off the eyes and we will get started.
One final thought, times are very short and most of what that will be here is going to be about the last days.  What is happening and where.  We are living in perilous times and persecutions are on the way, especially for committed Christians.  So grab your seatbelt and hang on!
Remember look up for our redemtion draws near!!

The Rapture

Just this past week we were told that the end of the world was at hand.  The day passed with nothing of significance happening, except that the world got a chance to make fun of date setters!  When will preachers ever learn not to set dates that even the Bible says "that no one knows the day or the hour."  Mark my words, the day of judgement is fast approaching.  The events of this day tell us that time is short.  Earthquakes, tornadoes, political deception, nation fighting with nation, religious persecution.  All of the former are just some of the signs that are seen in the pages of the Bible.  The day no one knows, but the events of the day show us we are headed quickly in that direction.  The Bible says that when these begin to take place, look up for your redemption is at hand.

God knows you

We so often try to put a good face on our life, at church, work and even as we come to God.  I have been reading in Psalm 103 and a couple of scriptures stood out to me.  Verse 14 says "he (God) knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust."  Why do we not just tell God the truth, how bad things are, what we really think or feel?  He knows.  He knows all things and has it all under control.  Verse 10 says that "He does not deal with us according to our sins."  Thankfully God shows us mercy.  Mercy is not getting what we deserve.  We deserve death, not eternal life.  We receive righteousness and peace because of Jesus. 
We need to learn to trust in God and believe that honesty is truly the best policy.  We as Christians should learn to come boldly to the throne of grace.  Be honest, be open and trust completely in our gracious Lord!

A Breaking Heart

In the last few weeks I have put several comments and news articles on facebook hopeing to stir people's minds and thoughts.  It seems most of us are deaf and dumb to what is going on in the world today.  There is no concern for what is right or wholesome anymore.  There is a lukewarmness that is astonishing and frightful to me.  Does anyone even think about what is going on in the world today.  The Middle East is erupting in flames and death and no one seems concerned.  Gas prices, religious persecutions, and outright hatred for Israel from the highest places of government!  The silence is deafening!!  Godly men and women must be awakened before it is too late.  This world is about to explode.  Pray!!   

Biblical Headlines

I have recently posted two news articles from a magazine called Israel Today.  Today's headlines could well be taken from Biblical prophecies spoken thousands of years ago.  As we look at the world today let us pray for God's will to be done.  Pray for revival, but most importantly pray for strength and courage to follow Christ.  Hope you enjoy them!  God Bless!!
