Don't misunderstand my previous post, Israel today is mostly a secular society, having forgotten her creator.  She has a form of godliness, much like the church in most of the world, but has denied the power associated with God.  Only by accepting Jesus Christ as one's personal savior can one be saved.  I stand with Israel, but most importantly I stand with Jesus!!

Iraq Again

Well it seems that the Middle East is on fire again.  Unfortunately our immoral government in the U.S. seems not to know how to tell the good guys from the bad guys.  God is in charge, don't ever forget that, but the lack of intelligence and resolve in America is making a bad situation worse.  At a time when the world needs a strong moral voice, America is silent.  We as Christians should realize that our faith will be tested in this present age.  Faith is not faith unless it has been put to the test.  Standing for Jesus may take more than just quoting a few scripture verses, it may mean putting our lifestyle, money, or even our life on the line.  Faith is not faith unless there is a possibility of losing everything. Christians in the Middle East are under severe attack and tribulation.  Islam is doing all it can to take over the world. Death and destruction follows.  I pray for the followers of Islam, that Jesus will reveal the truth to them.  Any war or chaos in that part of the world always reflects on Israel.  Always remember that Israel is the apple of God's eye.  Jehovah has made an eternal covenant with that nation.  Remember too that Satan has desired to destroy the Jews for thousands of years, from Haman to Hitler till today, anti-Semites still give voice to the desire to destroy the Jews.  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.  Look up for our redemption draws near.

2 Corinthians 3:17

But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

We as Christians should learn to wear the image of Jesus.  Image speaks of likeness, representation, or resemblance.  Identified with Jesus, brings about an inward character unlike the world.  The more like Jesus, the more we speak, do and  be like Him! 

1. Reflect Christ character
2. Wear His image
3.Share in His holiness.

That sickening feeling

Looking out at the world sickens me.  Evil is so rampant.  Breaking the law is commonplace.  Greed, immorality, strife is running wild.  Is it no wonder people everywhere are talking about the end of the world?  We need to get our house in order and pray for this wickedness that is sweeping society to be destroyed with a move of God.  Pray for revival.  It's our only hope.
