Living In Prophetic Times Part 3

Isaiah 5:28 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil: who put darkness for light, and light for darkness....
     We live in times where this verse is a reality.  Men and women can change genders at any time just by declaring it.  Abortion is celebrated.  Euthanasia has become a reality.  Homosexual marriage is common.  Who in this civilized world would have imaged such derangement just a few years ago.
     This is nothing more than a secular world setting itself up as their on little god to do as they please. The thoughts of mankind is generally not on God but their own pleasure and desires, and thumbing their noses at God's commandments.  Think back to earlier times where these sins, that are celebrated now, where secret and closeted due to our shame.
The solution is simple, find our way back to Biblical Christianity.  There is no other God than Jehovah!!
Romans 10:9-10  Confess with your mouth and believe with your heart the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.  He died for our sins and was raised for our justification.
     Dark days are ahead for the world, but not for the child of God.

A Wonderful LIfe

I remember Christmas morning when I was a child. The excitement of unopened presents, a good meal, and lots of visits by cousins and other family members.  I truly had a very blessed childhood.  Back in the 50's and 60's the world was definitely a much different place.  No political correctness and not chaos or bitterness of this present time.
Today Christmas is mostly rushing and running to get the gifts bought and then returning those same gifts or others that have been received.  Family members are scattered all across the country, an even continents.  True Christmas has lost a lot of it's childlike innocence.  True Christmas is remembering the reason for the season, the birth of our Savior who would redeem us from our sins.  True Christmas is about Jesus not material gifting.  True Christmas is giving and not expecting anything in return.  True Christmas has Christ in it.  True Christmas has faith, hope, peace, and joy.  True Christmas is a hope for a better world.  True Christmas is Jesus!  Let the spirit of a true Christmas inhabit your heart this Christmas season.
Just as the wise men searched and looked for the new borne King, so we need to search for and receive the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in our hearts.
My profound Christmas wish for you today is to fine the happiness and peace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is estimated that it cost the U. S. $135 billion a year to take care of illegal immigration.   They only contribute to our economy $20 billion in taxes. Think of what that other $100 billion could be used for, veteran's benefits, health care for our poor citizens.  We could also have those who need asylum come to our country in far greater numbers. 

I am not against immigration, but not a invasion.  God did not accept an invasion of His's throne room of Lucifer either.  He was kicked out.

Miracles of Jesus

Our small group at church is going visit a man who has brain damage due to lack of oxygen to his brain during a recent heart attack.  I asked our group to take a look at Matthew chapters 8 and 9 and read through the mighty heeling's an miracles that are found in these two chapters.  Each healing was different and each ailment was different.  But the one constant in all of them was that Jesus was involved.  He is the great physician.  His blood brings healing to a sick and lost world.  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.  Find what you need in the Word and read it and believe it and stand on the promise.  Declare victory and it will happen.  I'll give an update on what happens after we go. 
Believing for total victory for Stephen on Thursday night.

Independence Day

Thank God for freedom.  As a Christian I have been set free from sin, worry, and fears.  The Bible says whom the Son sets free is free indeed.  As Americans we celebrate this day as a day of freedom from a tyrannical government over 200 years ago.  God ordained and planted this country to be a light house unto the world.  We still are, although we may have a myriad of small issues we still set the standard for goodness and freedom in the world.
If for any reason you feel defeated or bound in anyway, I have the antidote.  JESUS!  If you give your life to the Lord and pray for His guidance He can take away all the pain, confusion, and suffering.  Jesus will give you a new life filled with freedom from sin.  John 3:16, Romans 10;9-13.

2 Chronicles 7:14

Well I am back.  Been gone for a while.  Looking forward to getting back into the blog. 
I have determined to be more involved in spreading the Gospel and doing more in depth Bible study.  Teaching the Word of God is the most important gifting that I have from the Lord.  Time is very short and "the perfecting of the saints" is a mandatory and primary focus of any worthwhile Bible teacher.  Many voices are out there, some sowing discord and others preaching the true Word.  I purpose to be the latter.  God is good and Jesus is returning soon.
