Election 2016

This will be the most important election ever, at least in my lifetime.  The differences in the candidates are astounding.  I firmly believe that the choice we make this year will determine the future of not only our country, but the world in general.

We have 2 political parties, but in some respect we have one ruling class party and a few patriots.  On the left is the Socialist, who love to tax and spend our money.  They have such a radical agenda that if they are elected, I personally believe we might have 10 years left of this once great nation.  Their agenda is so anti God that it amazes me that anyone would ever vote for such blatant evil: for abortion on demand, for homosexual marriage and other deviant lifestyles, doing away with our religious freedom, trying to make sin a protected class.  These are just moral issues not counting the governmental issues that are straight out of the socialist handbook. 

We must make a choice, for no choice is a vote for evil.

The other side in not much better, but at least they stand for life, protection of our religious freedoms and seek a nation that still believes in freedom. 

I know neither candidate is the answer for what this country needs.  We need revival and a return to morality and belief in Christ.  If that doesn’t happen soon, we will be finished as a nation that once declared and still is one nation under God with liberty and freedom for all.

Pray for the election, but most importantly pray for a move of God on America!  My heart’s longing and desire is for a return to moral and Biblical values.  God is not finished with America, but is America finished with God?

This may be America’s last stand.

We don't have a black or white issue in America, we have a sin issue in America.

If we all got back to the fundamentals of the Bible all our problems would dissolve.

Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life.

Pray for peace and understanding, but more importantly pray for forgiveness.

Home

You ever get home sick?  Maybe you have been gone from home on vacation or just away for an extended period of time.  Maybe you have moved away from your birthplace and are in new surroundings.  Away, lonely, not feeling comfortable or at ease.

As a Christian living in a this world now, makes me homesick.  Homesick for the way it used to be.  Homesick to see the one who died for me, Jesus.

We as Christians are pilgrims in this world.  Earth is not our home, we belong to another kingdom.

The Spirit and the Bride say "Come Lord Jesus Come."

Expose

I began praying a few weeks ago for the Holy Spirit to begin to reveal the evils in high places in the political system of our country.  Expose and bring to light greed and lies and the pride of our political leaders. Expose the sins so we as a nation and as Christians will see what is behind the veil of secrecy.

Now that evil is being exposed.  We need to pray for people to awake from slumber and have a moral and Godly outrage at what is being shown to have happened in our government.

Wake up America it is time to pray!

Wake up America we are being destroyed by those who pretend to care about us!

Wake up America we are being torn apart by evil men and women!

Wake up America our sins have given us what we deserve in our leaders!

We are reaping what we have sown!

Where is the outrage over millions of aborted and slaughtered babies!

Where is the outrage over a Anti-Christ government!

In Bible times Israel wanted to be like the nations around them and God allowed it.  They lost it all.
We are in the same boat and are nearing shipwreck.

Pray for a move of God.  Pray for a revival of repentance.  Reject politics and religion as usual.
Desire the presence of Jesus!
Long for the sweetness of the Holy Spirit!
Get in the Word!

Kept by the Power of God

Nothing can separate  us from the love of God.  We are held tightly by the power and authority of Jesus.  When our faith and trust is placed in Jesus we can defeat any foe that comes our way.  Life may try to distract, jobs may try to weigh us down, friends may exasperate us, but our weakness is always made perfect through Christ.  Look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

Love

What you love is what you do.  What you love is where your thoughts are.
Do you love this world?  I really don't, or do I?
The Bible tells us not to love this world or the world's system.  As a Christian my thoughts should be about things above and on the Lord Jesus Christ.  But when I see the chaos of this world or the political ramblings, I think maybe my heart is torn between the earth and the heavenly.

I long to see Jesus, but...I want to retire, I want to enjoy life here on earth.  I want good things to happen in my life.  Nothing wrong with that.  But where is my heart?

I want to live like an old hippie with not a care in this world.
Trusting all to Jesus.
Casting all my care on Him for He cares for me!

My Prayer for today

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus.  Move upon your people to pray for the Holy Spirit to move on this tired and wicked world.  I pray that evil will be exposed and greed and power hungry individuals will have their deeds brought to light.  Forgive us God for our evil thoughts and our laziness.  Forgive us for the spirit of death that prevails our world.  Stop abortion, stop wars and defeat the enemy as he tries to wear us down and depress and hinder our effectiveness.  Give grace and strength to those in the hour of persecution, as we pray for those who have been killed for your names's sake.
We are the blood bought church and we can and will be victorious in Christ Jesus!  Lord let us be light to shine in this dark world.  Give us power to defeat the enemy.  Let us declare your name above all others.  Forgive and restore your church to it's original state.
We ask in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen

Good and Evil

With the past few days we have seen another round of evil demonic sponsored killings against policemen in this country. Many have spoken eloquently about the issue and how to solve it.  Simple solution.  Adhere to Godly and morale principles. We live in a country where good is now spoken of as evil and evil as good.  We are in the last of the last days in this world.  Where is your heart?  What is the prime motive for your life?

Colossians 3:1 tells us to set your affection (mind) on the things above.
II Corinthians tells us we are ambassadors for Christ.
The Apostle John tells us we should not have a love for the world or it's world systems.

Do you love this world or the things in it more than Jesus?

Time is short, let's live like there is no tomorrow, and plan forever.
PUT JESUS FIRST!
Life will always be a battle, but In Christ we are always victorious.

July 4th Independence Day

Are you free?  I am, at least I try to live in freedom.  True freedom comes from a person.  Jesus Christ brings me freedom.  Freedom from sin, not that I am perfect or ever will be, but sin has no more dominion on the true believer.  Whom the son has set free is free indeed.

I am thankful for the freedoms we experience in America, but those can be taken away.  Freedom in Christ is eternal.  So on this "freedom holiday" lets enjoy true freedom from sin and pain.  John 3:16

Praying the Word

It is important that we as Christians hide God's Word in our hearts, not only to know what God is saying to us, but also so we can pray according to the will of God.  Many times in our private times of prayer we only pray for our needs and wants.  It becomes kind of a "wish list" prayer.  The prayers that get the answer are those based on the Word of God.  God will always supply our needs, but not always our wants. 

God's heart is for souls, for healing, and deliverance.  Let's stand together and pray for that.  Pray for revival and for an outpouring of His Holy Spirit.  Pray Luke 4:18-19 to start.  Liberty, freedom, and healing are certainly our right to ask for. 

Father God in Jesus name bring a blood bought revival to our nation and the nations of the world.  Amen

This day we must fight!  Our country and nations of the world, and the souls of men and women are in need of Godly deliverance today.  The enemy has poured out discouragement and a passive spirit upon us.

We must take the Word and pray for the Holy Spirit to fall upon believers to take the authority God has given us through the blood of Jesus to pull down the strongholds in our lives.  To release repentance and deliverance.  I boast in the cross of Jesus Christ.  Nothing more. 

Revival must be our first concern.
