We can take God’s presence for granted. We assume Jesus will always be there for us always. Matt. 28:20 Jesus doesn’t follow us, we follow Him. Following Jesus will lead us into experiences we never dreamed of. The highest of highs, and sometimes the lowest of lows. You will be with Jesus when He weeps, stands as intercessor over a lost and dying world, feel the pain of rejection from friends and loved ones and those spiritually blind. You will also see lives that were broken put back together. Marriages healed and restored: those in bondage, released, those mourning filled with joy. At times following Jesus is easy, other times very difficult.
Christianity at times is not easy, especially in this age we live in today. Jesus said to take up “our” cross and follow. Are we willing to follow anytime and anywhere, lowest of lows or highest of highs we must live what Christ gives us. That is the only way to truly follow Jesus.
Remember “You did not choose Me, but I chose you”. John 15;16
